We are Bushwick Bike Shop.

We are a bicycle repair shop opened in September 2008 in Bushwick, Brooklyn by KT Higgins, former NYC bike messenger and mechanic of ten years. Here to serve the cyclist community in New York City and beyond. We have customers from all over the city some people even commute in from Connecticut for the excellent service!

KT specializes in custom wheel building and the best custom bike builds this side of the East River. Come bring your bike in for a tune-up or overhaul and give your bike the special treatment. We believe in bicycle power for all and love to talk bikes and mechanics if there’s time in the busy day, but sometimes there is not, so be logical and save your rants for the slow hours.

Turn around times for repairs vary, but generally your bike will be available for pick up within the week. Check with KT.
